Individual therapy is a place where you can focus on you. In a “go go go” society where introspection and self-reflection are often pushed aside by busy schedules and ceaseless demands, it can be difficult to feel like you’re truly living a meaningful life.

On the outside, people may praise you for having it all together, but inside you feel like you’re barely keeping up. Without the time to nurture personal growth, you’re simply going through the motions, replaying old patterns, experiencing the same problems, and feeling the same, unsatisfying emotions.

I offer a sanctuary…

I am so glad to be able to offer a peaceful, calm and beautiful environment where life slows down and allows you to stop, to take a breath, and to begin the slow and wondrous journey of self-discovery and mindful living.

When you give yourself the gift of therapy, you are giving yourself one precious hour a week in which you can organize your thoughts, take stock of your life, and really observe what’s happening. Through this awareness, you can begin to sort through it all to discover where you want to make changes.

I am there to provide guidance and support, to give you feedback and observations, to help you make connections, and to offer you tools and resources that will help you make the changes you are ready to make.

It is important to me that when we complete our work together, you leave with the ability to maintain the changes you have made. My goal in our work together is not that we put out fires but facilitate the learning and personal growth that will change the way that you experience the world. All my clients have access to three important resources that help them maintain and build on the changes they made during our work together.

Better Health eBook – I have compiled my most useful interventions into an eBook called Better Health. This eBook has become an invaluable tool for my clients by serving as both a workbook from which we draw during session as well as a resource that becomes theirs to refer to once our work ends.

Your Operating Manual – Much of our work together will be identifying and cultivating tools and resources that nourish, support and sustain you. You’ll be encouraged to document these findings in a journal that will become a reference book for you in the future.

From happy memories to uplifting music to specific yoga posture and supplements and the invaluable Notes From Your Wise Self, you’ll record what helps lift your mood and keep your body running strong.

Autohypnosis – It has been found that one of the most effective ways to change unhelpful behavior is through repetition of specific and individualized, value-based statements, especially in the moments right before falling asleep when the mind is relaxed and receptive to new ideas and beliefs.

Through our work together, you will learn to identify your unhelpful core beliefs – the ones you subconsciously took on in early childhood and are now controlling up to 95% of your life – and then, more importantly, craft the statements with which you are ready to replace them.

One example of this may be replacing the belief that “I don’t deserve love from a healthy man” to “I know that I am worthy of love, and I am open to receiving love from a kind, respectful, healthy man.” I will provide you with the audio recording or coach you through setting it up with your own technology.
